Hitchki is a Bollywood-themed restaurant and bar concept for which SKID has designed eleven locations across India and Dubai, including

Hitchki Kala Ghoda, Hitchki BKC, Hitchki Powai, Hitchki Palladium Mall, Hitchki NESCO, Hitchki R-City Mall, Hitchki Viviana Mall, Hitchki Phoenix Market City Bangalore, Hitchki Sarjapur Bangalore, Hitchki Nagpur, and Hitchki Dubai.

The design premise across every outlet is the same: that Bollywood at its most grandiose and Indian food at its most colourful are really the same emotion wearing different clothes.

Each restaurant interior is built around a jewel-toned palette of deep teals, burnt oranges, and magentas, set against rustic textures like tiled arches, exposed brick, and cane and rattan furniture, so the space reads vintage before it reads restaurant.

Fringed and tasselled pendant lighting hangs low over velvet booths in mustard, moss, and wine, while curated statement pieces, a scalloped sofa, a ticket-counter-style host desk, keep the interior feeling collected rather than decorated. Patterns are layered rather than matched, floral against geometric against plain, in the same maximalist, nostalgic register as a classic Hindi film.

This is Indian restaurant interior design that treats nostalgia as a material rather than a theme: traditional bones dressed in a modern, "zara hatke" mood. Whether it's Hitchki BKC in Mumbai, Hitchki Nagpur, or Hitchki Dubai, every location reinterprets this world within its own footprint while keeping the same energetic, filmy, unmistakably Hitchki spirit.
